 Shaanxi Hengtong Intelligent Machine Co. Ltd is an independent High-tech Industry (a sub—company of the Jiaoda Kunji Group Co.) It takes the Institute of Advanced Manufacturing Technology XJTU as the technical support and its registered capital is RMB 27,960,000. Now the company has over 70 employees, among the full—time technical administrative personnel, 6 possess doctoral degrees. Their specialties range from mechanical engineering to material science, laser technology, computer, network and etc. General manager Prof. Lu Bingheng is a member of Domain Experts Committee (Advanced Manufacturing & Automation) of National “863” High—tech Program.  The main business of the company is manufacturing, distribution and service of the Rapid Prototype (RP) machines, Rapid Tooling (RT) machines and Reverse Engineering (RE) machines. One of the RP machines won the State Second Award for Scientific and Technological Progress in 2000. Since the first domestic laser RP machine (LPS 600) was developed and sold in 1997, the company has already developed 7 models and over 10 specifications of RP & RT equipments, such as gaseous and solid Laser Rapid Prototyping machines, UV RP machine, Vacuum Molding machine and 9 kinds of photosensitive resin for RP machines and has sold over 90 RP & RT equipment at home and abroad.
 There are over 20 sets of equipment in the company, including RP machi ne, NC machining centers, EDM machine tool, 3CMM machine and laser double—frequency interferometer.
